Sarah Agrios

    Violin & Viola

Sarah Agrios is a highly accomplished violinist and pedagogue living in the city of Richmond. She has performed with orchestras across the United States including Sinfonia Gulf Coast, Albany, Tallahassee and Williamsburg Symphonies, and the Virginia Opera. Passionate about chamber music, Sarah has also performed in string quartets throughout the US, Canada, Italy, Central and South America.  Sarah holds a Masters degree from Florida State University's College of Music, Bachelor of Music from Virginia Commonwealth University, and she also pursued an Artist Diploma at Texas Christian University.

Sarah is a passionate educator with over 12 years of experience teaching violin & viola. In 2019, Sarah was a violin teacher for the FOJI International Festival of Strings in Arica, Chile, and the International Music Festival of Naolinco in the Veracruz region of Mexico. Sarah uses a holistic approach to teaching and aims to empower and inspire her students as they grow, both as young musicians and as people.
