Rebecca is a self-taught artist creating realistic impressions of interiors and landscapes using oil paint and canvas. Her interior subject matter reflects Rebecca’s insight into family gatherings where stories are shared. Landscapes of beaches, prairies and forests express depth and texture taking the viewer on a journey to a place of tranquility, color by color. Recently, The Center for Creative Arts, Crossroads Art Center and Quirk Hotel have displayed Rebecca’s interior and landscape paintings. Exhibiting primarily in the Richmond area, Rebecca also has an online clientele in CA, NY, and IL. Rebecca has a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University and has taught (grades K-3) in the Richmond area for 14 years.
