ABOUT

Alan Good Parker hails from Richmond where he went to VCU to study jazz guitar.  Since graduating 20 years ago, Alan has maintained a busy schedule touring, recording, and teaching.

Notable acts that he has collaborated on stage or in the studio with include Lonnie Holley, Natalie Prass, Wye Oak, Matthew E. White, and Andy Jenkins.  As a guitar teacher, Alan believes that the mission is to help each student figure out how best to make the music and the guitar a steadfast companion as it has been for him.
